Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who are you and what do you do?

A: B&C Auto Detail Supply Ltd. is a detail supply wholesaler specializing in Pro brand products. We have been serving dealerships as well as detail and body shops in BC and Alberta for the past 15 years. The products we sell are designed with the professional in mind, delivering the highest quality alongside ease of use.

Along with Pro products, we distribute FLEX polishing equipment and Thermax hot water extractor systems. We also carry a complete line of detailing supplies and equipment to cover all of your detailing needs.

Q: Where can I buy your products?

A: Products from B&C Auto Detail Supply Ltd. can be purchased several ways:

i. A select number of items can be purchased online through our Web Store. Online items are restricted due to shipping compliance of dangerous or flammable materials, as well as size and weight restrictions with the carrier.
ii. Our full line of products can be purchased through our office. If you are unable to visit yourself, please feel free to call or e-mail us to set up an order. We can discuss sizes as well as shipping options for your convenience
iii. If you are buying within the Lower mainland from a dealership or detail shop we have a mobile sales representative that can help serve you. To set up an appointment with our rep please contact the office and we will be happy to assist you.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Products may be returned in original, unopened condition within 30 days of the shipping date.

Items are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee, and shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

All returns must be pre-approved and given a Return Item Number, which must be listed on the shipping label. Shipments will be refused and returned to sender if the Return Item Number is not listed on the package.

Q: I need MSDS sheets, where can I find them?

A: MSDS sheets are available on any items purchased. If you require this information please send us an e-mail listing the products you would like information on, as well as your Invoice number.

Q: What is VOC and are Pro products VOC compliant?

A: Health Canada classes products as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) based on high vapor pressure at ordinary room temperatures. The high vapor pressure allows these products to cause molecules to evaporate from their liquid or solid form into the surrounding air.

VOCs are varied and include both human-made and naturally occurring chemical compounds. Some VOCs can be dangerous to human health or cause harm to the environment.
As B&C Auto Detail Supply Ltd. carries professional grade cleaning and detailing products, certain products are labeled as VOCs. However, all items that we carry are in compliance with Health Canada regulations. We do not import, sell or distribute products that are not VOC compliant.

Q: Are Pro products biodegradable?

A: With the exception of our solvent-based products, all of our chemicals are biodegradable and sold in recyclable plastic packaging. Should you require further information please refer to our MSDS sheets.

Q: Are Pro products body shop safe?

A: For products to be considered safe to use in a body shop environment they need to be silicone free. This is because a chemical reaction occurs when silicone comes into contact with uncured paint, causing “fish-eying” in the paint surface.

Not all products we carry are considered body shop safe. We do, however, carry a range of silicone free products including our Allura Polishing System. Please contact us for more information or to find out whether a product is right for your business.
